SITE Conference Best Paper Awards*

Each year the conference's most outstanding papers are proposed by SITE's committees to the President for an award. The President reviews the nominated papers and makes the final selection.

SITE Poster Demos, also prestigious presentations due to the nature of our work and scholarship, are judged during the conference by a group led by SITE's Academic Coordinator, with the final selection made by the President.

* Note: For Conference paper awards, a Ed/IT LIB Digital Library subscription is required to view full-text of the paper.

National Technology Leadership Initiative (NTLI) Fellowships

The US National Technology Leadership Initiative (NTLI) fellowships were established to recognize exemplary presentations related to integration of technology in the core content areas at the annual meetings of each participating association. This initiative is led by Glen Bull, editor-in-chief of SITE’s online CITE Journal.

Lifetime Achievement Awards

SITE makes occasional awards to outstanding individuals for their lifetime service and impact on information technology and teacher education.

Award for Outstanding Service to Digital Equity

The Outstanding Service in Digital Equity Award (OSDE) was established to recognize and encourage outstanding scholarship and service in the area of digital equity and increase awareness of successful approaches taken through teacher education for increasing equity over the many digital divides that affect our societies today—economic, cultural, physical and mental.

The presentation of this award is also intended to emphasize SITE’s concern for equity in information technology and teacher education. More >>
