Abstract:
This paper describes a small exploratory pilot study of the use of digital storytelling with first-year education students at Bloomfield College. The purpose of this exploratory pilot study was to find out the applicability of digital storytelling to the first-year education major students’ final project and how the use of digital storytelling helped to enhance the students’ self-reflection and self-expression. The findings show that the students were very motivated and excited about using digital stories to express their learning.
