Digital Storytelling/Media SIG

Formed in 2005, SITE's Digital Storytelling SIG addresses the role of digital storytelling in teacher education, research on and the evaluation of digital storytelling and best practices for digital storytelling in the field, among its varied topics. Beginning this year, the name of the SIG is being changed to Digital Storytelling/Digital Video to reflect the growing interest in digital video by SITE members and the education community throughout the world.

The SITE Screening Room

SITE's Digital Storytelling/Digital Video SIG has created an online Screening Room where educational videos that cover many different content areas may be submitted, viewed and discussed through the SITE Blog. It is our hope that as the use of digital video and digital storytelling continues to grow, SITE members will submit exemplary examples of their work to the Screening Room and participate in discussions with others interested in these exciting technology tools.
