The Graduate Student Network (GSN) SIG was established in 2010 to support graduate students in their academic and professional pursuits. Graduate students are a valuable part of SITE’s community, and GSN aims to support them in their unique professional challenges and triumphs, and assist them as they transition to professional careers. Join us in our inaugural year!
Activities to pursue this year:
- Organize and develop a NING community site: forum to talk with SIG members
- Review submissions to our SIG
- Poster/laptop/roundtable session(s) of graduate work (papers, ideas for research)
- Survey of graduate student attendees of ways they would like to be supported at SITE conference
- Discussion of future SIG activities (i.e., vitae workshops, “hot topic” conversations, meet-n-greet, senior graduate student panel)
