Certainly the highlight of the year for most SITE members is the annual conference held each March. For many of us, it’s a good time to reenergize, to see familiar (and not-so-familiar) colleagues, to share cutting-edge ideas and research with others. Thoughts on Advocacy Issues
As do many of you, I spend a lot of time researching and teaching about a variety of emergent media. (These days I’m focusing on digital storytelling, geocaching and gaming (specifically, Second Life).) UNESCO to coordinate e-learning: SITE supports
With support from SITE I attended the UNESCO consultation on e-learning in October and I was present when we voted for UNESCO to become co-ordinators for this action line from the World Summit on the Information Society. The discussions raised many issues including the ciritical success factor of ICT teacher education - our focus!
