How Could the Children Tell the Story of the School?
We had some interaction with the children on our various visits to the school, and on one day we shared as team, the use of Google Glass with the teachers , the students ,and the faculty. I brought the GG , we all sat and figured it out and Alexandra solved the access to the Internet problem by buying time on a hot spot connection that she ws able to use to initiative and connect to the Internet.
What did we use and how did we plan in the school? First on one day, we mentioned it. Then we went back to use it.
This special day featured the introduction of Google Glass as a technology to explore, expand knowledge, involve community, to engage students so that they could create using the technology and to use the seven E’s in ideational scaffolding .
Rationale. The philosophy about learning, that proposes learners need to build their own understanding of new ideas, has been labeled constructivism.
Excite is the first E. We informed the students that we would be sharing Google Glass with them. That statement provided excitement. They looked at the Google Glass video on their mobile devices.

Engage (and Elicit)
We got their attention and found out what they knew. This meant in some way making it relevant to them. We Invoked curiousity, excitement, wonder.
Explained . . . the concept of the use of this technology and define the terms. We engaged them into developing the ideas for use.
Expand . . . discovering new applications. The application was to explain their school and how it works. They do not have a video. Google Glass is being used as tool to help them define what the school is about. We got permission from the teacher of the class to allow students to use the technology to tell the story of their school. The children aided by Sara and Alexandra , planned how to use the tool to tell the story. Finally we were able to take a group of students and let them exchange ideas and plan the experience and use the technology.

Sara and Alexadnra facilititated its use because of the language barrier on an initial basis, Most of the children accessed the video on Google Glass on their devices.
It broke the ice and started conversations from all grade levels and including the cafeteria.
The cafeteris is the heart and soul of the school , as children have many meals and it is a gathering place.
At the end of the day , after lessons and the meeting was over we still talked GG.Google Glass that is, overt tea.
